Suriya joined the TFTL in 2023 during his B.Tech internship and worked on the machine learning techniques for classifying pool boiling regimes. Later he joined as a PhD student in the same lab in 2024, he now leverages machine learning to analyze and optimize the acoustics of pool boiling, aiming to develop more efficient and effective boiling systems.
